The present study investigates the impact of language immersion programs on fluency development among English language learners. Language immersion programs, characterized by the use of the target language in all aspects of classroom instruction and school life, have been increasingly popular as a method to accelerate language acquisition. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of these programs in promoting fluency, which is a key component of language proficiency. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study involves both quantitative data analysis from standardized language proficiency tests and qualitative insights from interviews with participants and educators. Findings indicate that language immersion programs significantly enhance fluency, as measured by increased oral production speed and reduced error rates. Participants in immersion programs demonstrate higher levels of spontaneous language use and a more natural flow in speech, suggesting that the immersive environment provides opportunities for extensive exposure and authentic practice. Moreover, the study highlights the importance of appropriate training and support for educators in these programs to ensure optimal learning outcomes. Overall, this research contributes to the understanding of how language immersion can be effectively implemented to improve fluency in English language learners.
