Abstract

The paper explores the complexities and strategies associated with language acquisition in multilingual contexts. In an increasingly globalized world, individuals are more likely to encounter multiple languages and linguistic environments. This paper discusses the challenges that arise from such diversity, such as language interference, cognitive overload, and social barriers. It examines how multilingualism can impact cognitive development and communication skills. Furthermore, the paper proposes various strategies that can facilitate language learning in multilingual settings, including explicit pedagogical approaches, language immersion programs, and the use of technology. By analyzing empirical studies and theoretical frameworks, this paper contributes to the understanding of how multilingualism can be fostered and supported, ultimately leading to a more inclusive and linguistically diverse society.
